How to get path of file(ex:test.txt) currently running in c#.

Well, you can get the name of the currently open file by extracting it from the window title. This can be done in C/C++ but would be very difficult from managed code which can only run in user mode. If none of the previous replies helped you then you need to clarify what you need. Since you use "text.txt" as an example I suspect that you are trying to ask for something different from what the other replies are suggesting.

Thanks for the reply, In the above code say i have Test.txt file running(open) then thru the above code i am getting Process notepad: C:\Windows\system32\NOTEPAD.EXE. But my requirment is to get Application Name: Test.txt Path of Application : c:/Tempfolder

Hi, You can get all the files which are currently running in the operating system.
