ask SQL expert here -- try catch in T-SQL

Question

Hello everyone I an new to begin try/end try and begin catch/end catch. Could anyone recommend me some tutorials for a beginner? My background is I wrote T-SQL before but not too much I have never used begin try/end try and begin catch/end catch. thanks in advance George

I wouldn't. Google has a lot more combined experience than I ever will. Considering that there are blogs from people who have been in the industry for 30+ years and blogs from people that work for Microsoft. I would trust Google. I use Google all the time when I can't figure out how to do something.

A simple Google search for sql try catch would have given you tons of tutorials. The first on the list is http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms175976.aspx
