The Microsoft created the control for the different environment. The standalone application have the windows controls and web server controls will be used for the web development. The ASP.Net controls developed to comply the W3C standards. It is similar controls like HTML controls. It will be executed on the server side. when render in the browser it will be created like normal HTML control. For example ASP.Net server side button control will be When it renders in the client browser it will be created like the above HTML control. Hi Arun ASP.Net controls are nothing but objects on ASP.NET Web pages that run when the page is requested and that render markup to a browser. Thanks Prasant
