asp.net MVC How to retrieve the selected radiobutton value

Question

I am making a small project in mvc i have the following fields : IdNameAgeGender I am using LINQ to SQL Everything is working fine but in Edit mode how do i retrieve the selected Gender My Index actioncreate actionEdit action are working fine but in edit mode how do i retrieve the selected gender...?? I am using RadiobuttonFor  for gender

Hi Hope the model will itself hold the value of the radio button selected values check that and also you should sent the model as the parameter in the edit option. @Html.RadioButtonFor(model=>model.gender Male  new {@ checked = true }) @Html.RadioButtonFor(model=>model.gender Female  new {@ checked = true }) G ender as a Enum type and U have written value for radio button is string type. So please just change Male to 0 and Female to 1. Mark as answer if helpful.
