ASP.NET MVC Logged user based list view data

Question

Hi, You will be appreciated to share your experience how to show the data list view which will get auto filtered according the user logged.

Example : when user ram logged there after he will only see the records entered by him (ram)

PLEASE HELP me in light of MVC only !

hi 1. user id take Session Variable and that UserId pass the Controller and u write bussiness logic u pass the Controller user id and Db createBy Id same that Data u retrive. if (Session["UserId"] == null ) return RedirectToAction("Login", "Home"); var model = new model() model UserId = Convert.ToInt32(Session["UserId"]); public ActionResult(int ? userId) { var datalist =(from c tablename where c.CreateById==userId , select c).ToList(); return datalist; }

Hi, VENKATA, if you will dont mind ; I have the following scenerio; In one view data list I click on the Selected employee id, Then I will have the other multiple action links of various categories when i go through it I should get only the records of Selected Employee (Albert) only.what is the best practice ?

Hi . step 1. 1.when u save the Records Table , u can add one Column is CreatedBy, So now who dis Records Saved Easy Identification and When U Login that time User Id And CreatedBy when its Equal Data is Displayed. I hope R u understand .if u any doubt let me know
