If you're starting from scratch with any web technology then the w3schools site is always worth checking out. For ASP.NET they have a choice of 3 threads: Web Pages MVC and Web Forms. Perhaps nowadays MVC is the one to go for: http://www.w3schools.com/aspnet/

I suggest starting with some proper ebook. There are many of them that should be appropriate for you. Something like Asp.net Step By Step. Also the Asp.net official website has a Learn submenu with countless number of helpful resources and a friendly forum community as well.
