Authentication in Asp.Net

Can you please help me in how to authenticate? That is the pages that are visible to the signed in user should not open when we try to open them by copy pasting the URL in browser.

When user log in Start the Session and store authentic information in session variables when the page loads session variables (user name password) compared with the information in database if ( authentic information in session variable matches info in database ) { show the page } else { Redirect The page to Home page or Login page }
