Authorization and User roles

Question

hey guys.. i have two forms and user can make adding, deleting, editing processes if he/she wants..but now i want that not everybody can do these things and can see the all buttons or other tools on the form..i want only the people who has administrator authorization can see that important points..the thing is i didnt do something like that before and i dont know where should i start..is there anyone who has small sample code for that or any other help will be appreciated

hi erdinc You can hide/show some of the functionality of your application by defining roles for your application. You should have a relationship between user and role. In short you have to assign some roles to the user. And based on that role value associated with the user you can show/hide your buttons/functionality etc.... Hope this will help you. Best luck

i found something like that and change it a little..but now i dont know how to do it when a user sign in if he/she is admin or normal user...because in the first fomr i will chek only if the user is valid or not..and the other forms will be shaped according to the user authorization like showing or hiding something but i dont know how i can get the user's authorization in the new opening form
