You can refer C# 5 in Nutshell by Joseph & Ben Albahari and C# in Depth by Jon Skeet is also a good option. Both books are among best C# books. C# in Nutshell is good to gain knowledge while C# in depth is about understanding concepts better. If you want to go more deeper go with CLR via C#. But as a beginner C# in Nutshell is suggested.
