Auto generate Number in Winform TextBox

Sir I need your help in how we can automatically generate serial number in textBox in windows forms applications.

If you set the TabIndex property to 0 for txtName then the focus should move to it as soon as the form loads. If you don't want the focus to ever move to txtSerial (except by other means than pressing the TAB key) then set its TabStop property to false.

Hai Vulpes I have two textBoxes one is to generate serail no(txtserial) and other is for name(txtName). I want to focus the name textBox in form load. int SerialNo=0; SerialNo++; txtSerial.Text = SerialNo.ToString(); txtName.Focus(); how can I get focused into the txtName in form load?

No photo was attached but if you don't want to give the user the opportunity to change the auto-generated serial number why not display it in a label rather than a textbox?

Ok now the number is being generated. but it looks like it being selected. how can solve this problem. see the attached photo with this for the screenshot.
