Auto Suggestion box like google search box ........

Hello guys .... I am developing an inventory system for a book store ..... here i wana make a search box for book searching which should be auto suggested like google..... How can i make it  Help me

Are you guys serious ? Jquery has nothing to do with java or .NET at all . Jquery is a client side scripting language that runs on browser you need to download the latest Jquery library include it into your project drag drop it in the header of Aspx page that's it.write your Jquery code plugin etc then.if you are talking about WINDOWS FORM APPLICATION then it is much easier to implement AutoComple into it just use a simple textbox hit your database on every textchange event put autocomplete mode on for the textbox use AutocompleteString Collection like this:- AutoCompleteStringCollection AutoItem = new AutoCompleteStringCollection(); AutoItem.add(C#); AutoItem.add(ASP.NET); texbox.AutoCompleteMode = AutoCompleteMode.Suggest; texbox.AutoCompleteSource = AutoCompleteSource.CustomSource; texbox.AutoCompleteCustomSource = AutoItem;

Hi I already did the same thing. What we do is: We wrote one ajax call in which we send the entered letter in json format. We wrote one service which hit that service and send us data in json format. we map that data in combo box. Please let me know if you want anything else

you must have a database that stores the information of books like its title  author name etc. see the suggestion box is nothing but an Auto Complete UI component. i suggest you to use Jquery UI libraray to implement autocomplete or better say your suggestion box AJAX call your database bind the values to the autocomplete control and you are done.
