Autogenerate 10 Digit number

Question

When i enter 12 in textbox it should convert into 0101010112 randomaly when i enter 134 it should convert into 0101010134 in windows form

I can only think that you didn't make the padding string long enough to start with - I made it 10 characters long to be on the safe side. Anyway glad it's working now :)

If you mean that you want to 'pad left' whatever is entered in the textbox with as many characters of the string 0101010101 as are needed then this code should do it: int len = textBox1.Text.Length; if (len { string padding = 0101010101; textBox1.Text = padding.Substring(0 10 - len) + textBox1.Text; }

no Jignesh Trivedi i also thinked like this but this is not question you see in question 0101010112 (here he is enter 12 and prefix is 01010101 ) 0101010134 ( here he is enter 134 and prefix is 0101010).. so prefix is changing.

hi I think 01010101 is prefix right? so in this case you can write textbox lost focus event and in this event you can add this prefix textbox1.Text = 01010101 + textbox1.Text; hope this will help you.
