Automation of my daily reprot.

Question

Hi Team,

 I am Narendra Bhimaneni,working for some MNC organization,here every week i need to generate one report which we call it as DSR.Intially report(excel) will run by other team,which we call it as ACT team,they are using mainframes(COBOL,JCL,AndDB2).Depends on their report we are generating final report by creating SQL query,with one view which will work as a teporary table.we are passing their data into a view to work as a temporary table.Finall we are getting data from our backend.All these work is going manually,i want to generate one automation process for this stuff.

Can any body please explain how to read their data through an excel, and  depend on that data i need to pull finall data using oracle backend and C# .eaither asp,net MVC or C#.
