Let me give you an example for this.... Suppose a person is playing a Casio... So before start playing he will first take the Casio Adapter and attach it to the electric Socket and then attach the wire to the Casio for electric current supply..... So in that Case Casio Adapter became a bridge between the Casio and the Electric Socket. Here Adapters basically acts like a bridge between the Database and a Dataset or a DataTable... The basic usage of a DataAdapter is to fetch data from the database and fill it in a Dataset or a DataTable.
