bid increment problem

hi all i m working on Auction site. so there is bid option. somebuddy help me in coding of bid increment. how bid increment is done using asp.net & sql 2005

I don't know whether my answer would be the optimized one: You can store each bid by user in a separate record. Later there should be a BL method to get the max bid and the associated user.
