binary data in SQL

Does anyone know of any code samples for saving and retrieving binary data (like .doc files) into either a varbinary or image type in SQL? -James

Give us some details about your database method. You can add .doc files to blob fields and your blob fields can be retrieved using scalars or datareaders. To use a datareader just use the GETBYTES method to read the blob field. I've never done INSERT without a stored procedure.
