Bind Datagrid using Database in Silverlight

Question

Hi I have an example of bind datagrid using XML and using database with web services. But anyone can help me to bind datagrid using database WITHOUT web services ? Thanks and Regards Rohit

Hi This kind of grid is technically called gridview. The cleanest way is to add an SQLDATASource to your aspx page configure it and bind the grid view to it like this example bellow id= SqlDataSource1 runat= server DataSourceMode= DataReader ConnectionString=   SelectCommand= SELECT FirstName LastName Title FROM Employees > id= GridView1 runat= server DataSourceID= SqlDataSource1 > Of corse if you plan to bind to access or other data sources that sql server then substitue the sqldatasouce by oledbdatasource
