Button Property change in MDI child Form

Question

Hi.. Here i want to change the button property of A MDI child form with respect to MDIparent. intially at MDIchildform load button is as enable=false.After picking some button in MDI parent ther childform button is available.Please Suggest how to Do. Thanks&Regards VishnuVardhan D.

If I've understood it correctly the code to do that from the MDIParent will be something like this. I've assumed that the class name of the MDIChild is 'Form2' and it has a button named 'button1' which is to be enabled and (possibly) clicked: Form2 child = (Form2)this.ActiveMdiChild; Button b = (Button)child.Controls[button1]; b.Enabled = true; b.PerformClick(); // if required
