How can you write a windows application that calls a web page and you can save the source of the response? Basically I want to call a page and save the contents as a string Thanks

They are located in the System.Web library. And I generally include at the minimum these three name spaces when doing any network based programming. using System.Net; using System.Net.Sockets; using System.Web;

You will need to use the pair of clients specifically for this: HttpWebRequest and HttpWebResponse. The use of them is very simple: HttpWebRequest req = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create( url ); HttpWebResponse resp = (HttpWebResponse)req.GetResponse(); From there you can open a stream against the resp object and read out the data.
