C# Beginner

Question

Hi I am new to c#. I am working with asp.net and code behind as vb.net. I am willing to learn c# and looking for few guidelines. I would be happy if anybody tell me  how to start learning c# ? Thanks in advance. Regards Ram.

Hi Take small project and try to create in c# which will cover all c# objects. Also refer Professional c# 2005 wrox publication books. If U were done some project in other software language as u say vb.net try to develop in c#. knowledge of C/C++ language is essential..... India Karrox at Ghatkoper gives training. I'm not saying much because I'm also beginner in c#.

I am also new to C#. I am following an online course in C#. I found it is suitable for me because I am in Canada . If there is no online C# course offered in India  I suggest it is better to find a Computer Centre which offers C# study course. A good way to learn almost any language is to go to your nearest book store and pick up a good book. But to be honest I never used one for C# but I did use many of these video tutorials check them out at http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/beginner/windows/tier1/ As you near the end of the tutorials you are taught how to create a RSS reader pretty cool. Hopefully this helps.
