C# camera snapshot

Hi! Sorry for my english. Im a beginner in C#. I downloaded a directshow example called DXsnap from the internet. It can make a snapshot from my USB camera, but the problem is with the speed. It takes a long time to make a picture. So i decided to make snapshot, from the preview window. The preview from the camera is placed on my form. I made procedure what makes a snapshot from the screen - something like Printscreen. When i open the captured Image, instead of the captured frame is there only a black picture. Then i tried only press the Print screen button, and the same thing happened. Have someone met this problem. Is there any solution for?

This is a windows forms application. I saw those articles on the right side. I made the whole program in Visual Basic 6 but i thought there is a way to make it faster. But most of the examples on the web made it with WIA ( Windows Image aquisition). In my visual basic 6 program i made with WIA too. I found another way to make a snpashot with the directshow but it isnt much faster than the WIA method so thats because i decided to make it with the simple printscreen but it's not functioning. Its not a big problem if i cant find a faster way i will let it with the WIA method.

Is this a Windows app or Web app? Are you using WPF Windows Forms Silverlight or ASP.NET? Did you see articles listed in the right side? I have not used it but Silverlight and WPF have Webcam capture features. Also Flash has this feature as well.
