C# exe file

Question

I have a C# .exe file i want to sechdule it in task sechduler.It is running a script so i want that when i am sechduling it
,from there i will pass my script file name,i do not want that it is hardcoded in source code.

You can use Scheduled tasks from Control panel . Add your exe file in Scheduled task and set execute time in this application. easily.

If I haven't misunderstood you wanted to pass parameters to your C# exe from the windows scheduler. If so you can specify the argument right after the program name within the scheduler command eg. -paramname paramvalue should work. try searching (google) for windows scheduler specify parameters for specific examples. Your executable will receive the runtime arguments within the args parameter of the main method Hope this helps! Dipal

I think you need to spend a little more time describing what you need help doing. You say i want that when i am sechduling it but after that you seemed to have taken a nap since I think the rest of what you meant to say is missing.

You need to learn to pass command line arguments/parameters in an application. Search C# Corner using Search link on the header for command line arguments to get an article on it.
