C# in ASP.NET

Hi friends I want to know that .Net is a multi language framework then why we used only C# mostly in application.

Hi Amit People have different - different thinking Or have different - different background In this condition some people comes from java or c or c++ then they will prefer c#.net or J#.net. some people comes from clasic vb then they will prefer vb.net. So this is no metter which language you choose most important is your logic which have to strong.

As the above posters have responded you can use any of the .net languages to build your applications. Companies use a standard language since it is easier to maintain teams and generate a resource pool. In many cases you are constrained to continue using the same language that an application or product was started with. In many cases you would be able to use multiple languages too within the same application.

Hi It is only your choice which language you used either vb or c# or f# or j#.

Hi Amit this is mostly on preference and comfort level with a language and there is no performance gain. You are free to use C#J#VB etc. it depends on you.
