Is Interface used for implementing multiple inheritance, since multiple inheritance is not possible with class?

Generally if you use classes, your child class can inherit only from one parent class. Multiple inheritances are not allowed in c#. but with interfaces, you can inherit a child class from multiple interfaces. Also it provides uniformity and standardization of methods. Abstract class can have one more implemented methods. But interface should have only non implemented methods public abstract class myclass { void getNames(); void Getdetails() { //do something; } public interface IVehicle { void getNames(); void Getdetails(); } One more is you can provide access specifier for the methods in abstract class but you cant specify any for interface methods, not even public.
