C# Learning steps

Question

I would like to learn C# - to develop application using Visual studio. I installed Visual studio 2010 and SQL server 2008 R2 in my laptop.

Should i learn HTML, Java Script before starting C#.

Can you please guide me with correct learning steps.

C# : It is object oriented programming language developed by Microsoft. It is no way related to HTML JavaScript. You can start C# independently. Secondly if you are involved with web application(asp.net) then you need to learn HTML Javascript to design your page validation etc. You can learn both C# and JavaScript same time. Dear Arul I think - I landed good site today -towards my learning journey. I just have quick view on all your link provided by you. It looks all links are good for me and made me such that i could not decide which site i will prefer . My wish is to develop a simple employee register application-web application. Requirement is :Register new employee and view the existing employees. I knew basic of HTML . SQL i knew to create table and other stuff ( as i am a oracle programmer). Now can you please suggest me the what are i should learn apart from HTML and SQL.

There is no need to learn HTML and JavaScript for C#. But if you want to work on web application like Asp.Net application then you must learn HTML and JavaScript.
