C#. net and ssrs reports

Question

Basically my company has the standard edition of sql server reporting services 2008 r2. I would like to use C#.net 2008 or C#.net 2010 to write the excel output reports in various directory files paths.

I would like to you if you would recommend using WCF to simulate sql server report services 2008 r2 creating data driven subsciptions? If not,what would you recommend using? In both cases, would you point me to the urls and/or books I can refer to accomplish this task?

There is no need to post the same question in more than one thread at the same time. I suggest that responses should be made to the thread in the SQL Server forum iinstead of here; this is not a C# Language question.
