C# object to com+

Question

I want to know what should I do to install *.dll file that I created in C# to component services (com+) I gave the object a strong name but it faild to load. can somw one give me direction how should I do it ? Thanks.

hi there are few steps to be followed for porting your DLL onto the COM+. But I don't know if your dll is a managed one. If your DLL is managed(developed in C#/VB.NET/VC++.NET) then from the .NET command prompt you shall use regsvcs your dll name this 'regsvcs' utility registers your .NET DLL and at the sametime ports it onto the Component Service(COM+). Be sure to sign your .NET DLL with a .snk file. HTH irfan
