Large Redmond, Washington based Software Development Company is looking for C# Software Developers with backgrounds in test. This team is looking for candidates that will want to be part of the development of the next generation search engine. This team wants to push past Google for the lead in search capabilities. They would like to have candidates that have a history in C# development. They will also look at candidates with strong development skills in C++ with some academic C# skills or a solid back ground in Java development. C++ Developers will need to demonstrate that they can ramp up quickly.

This team also needs candidates to have a good solid background in test. This would include the ability to create test cases and test plans, with an understanding on what it takes to develop in a test environment. Having past test automation experience is a big plus.

They have several positions open. One is for a candidate with Web test experience. They would like to see experience with Performance and Scalability along with automation and SQL backend. Another they have open is for a UI test position where the candidate will own the test of the UI portion of the engine.

Requirements:

  • Solid C# Development skills or C++ Development skills and some C# or the ability to demonstrate thorough C++ skill levels to ramp up very quickly in C#.

  • They will also look at a solid C++ dev that has a good background in Java development.

  • A background in test is required. Candidates should be able to write test cases and plans.

Plus Skills:

  • C# automations skills.

  • Experience with Performance and Scalability testing.

  • Experience with SQL, IIS and Sharepoint.

  • Experience with batch files and scripting skill a plus (VB script or Perl)
