c# show minimized form on close

i have form1 and form2 .. i want form2 closed event to unminimize form1 i have tried this code : form1.WindowState = FormWindowState.Normal;

when I typed it as u wrote it .. it shows error expected ; when I type the ; .. another error shows up .. The name 'form1' does not exist in the current context
