C# Sip Softphone

Question

Hi guys i've been tasked with developing SIP softphone for a client and was wondering if any of you guys know a decent (with proper support and documentation) SDK for C#? Am willing to purchase if needs be. Thanks

hello At the first phase of my project I also use a free softphone because it was only for testing how effective it is. As it turned to be very effective I decided to implement a more complext softphone for complex text voice and video phoning to my customers. There are many softphones on the market. Since I increase the capacity finally I bought a softphone license as free softphones were not so reliable as they should be in production. My deciding factors were the support and reliability with high capacity. Finally I chose the Ozeki VoIP SIP SDK that is quite flexible enough to develop a Silverlight softphone (and I also created an autodialer with it). The support team is very responsive and helped me a lot the right support was critical for me. That is why I purchased this product instead of the others after testing. On the basis of this article it was really easy for me to create a SIP softphone. It's worth to take a look at this guide. Otherwise in this article Ozeki VOIP SIP SDK has been used as an SDK for C# development. In my opinion it's an easy-to-use realiable software so I can recommend you that. (Actually I've never tried any other SDK for C# but it has worked for me.) Hi! We are in the same shoes. I have found a working silverlight softphone at http://www.ozekiphone.com . So I know it can be done. These guys also sell a C# SDK at http://www.voip-sip-sdk.com . The problem is that it is a bit expensive. This is how far I got at the moment. Villmos

You could use UCCA Api. I dont think you realize the scope of this project. There are numerous Softphone applications you can purchase and use for free Xlite for instance. You have to have write code to handle the network layer and the you need to follow SIP protocol specfications listed in the RFC. UCCA is generally used to build application for Office Communication Server using SIP
