C# - Specified cast is not valid in Datetime

how to solve this error? LogInTime = A.Field ( LogInTime ) == null ? UnKnown : A.Field ( LogInTime )  Specified cast is not valid

It is clear that you cannot possibly assign Unknown to the variable of datatype DateTime. So on left hand side you should have a variable of data type String and you should assign formatted date time to it. Something as follows just as an example: String loginTime = A.Field (LoginTime) == null ? Unknown : A.Field (LoginTime).ToString(dd-MMM-yyyy); Hope it helps!

Prakash you are correct but i think data is not coming correctlymeans parse problem.

If you want LogInTime variable as DateTime object then use: LogInTime = A.Field (LogInTime) == null ? DateTime.Min : DateTime.ParseExact(A.Field (LogInTime) mm/dd/yyyy null); else LogInTime = A.Field (LogInTime) == null ? Unknown : A.Field (LogInTime)

Actually I want if  LogInTime  is null return  unknown  Here LogInTime is datetime format in mysql server.
