C# to Open Existing Excel Workbook

Question

How would I open an existing Excel Workbook using C#? I have tried several guides I have seen on the internet but none of them work succesfully for me :(

Same issue running your code. It shouldn't be a permission issue...it is a file saved locally on my desktop. I am running Win 7 and Excel 2007.

did you check if this is a permission issue when opening the file? are you running this on local machine or server? what is the OS and office version? All the codes I try give me a System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException error.
