C# Two form f1 and f2

Question

f1 frist form show and exit two button

f2 " " exit and back

show btn click another page display grid and list

f2 form back btn click f2 form closed but **** exit btn click f1 and f2 closed how?

All that will do is to create a new instance of Form1 and then close that. It won't close the existing instance. If you want to do that but not close the entire application (assuming Form1 isn't the startup form) you can use: Form1 form1 = Application.OpenForms[Form1] as Form1; if (form1 != null) form1.Close();

If you close the 'startup' form then it will automatically close any other open forms. Otherwise you can call Application.Exit() to close all open forms in an orderly manner and the application itself.
