why TCP used in C#.net WPF(why not http)?

Hi Mahesh, WPF is desktop based application. It is developed by Microsoft. It is use mostly for standalone application. I can say WPF is replacement of Windows form. We can call web service, WCF and Web Api using Http Protocol in WPF wheres TCP is mostly use client server application. We can use System.Net.Sockets namespace for TCP protocol in .Net. Windows Presentation Foundation (or WPF) is a Computer Software graphical subsystem for rendering user interfaces in Windows-based applications developed by Microsoft. WPF employs XAML, an XML-based language, to define and link various UI elements.[1] WPF applications can also be deployed as standalone desktop programs.WPF aims to unify a number of common user interface elements, such as 2D/3D rendering, fixed and adaptive documents, typography, vector graphics, runtime animation, and pre-rendered media. TCP : The Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) is one of the core protocols of the Internet protocol suite (IP), and is so common that the entire suite is often called TCP/IP. Web browsers use TCP when they connect to servers on the World Wide Web, and it is used to deliver email and transfer files from one location to another.
