Can All VBA be Converted to C#

Question

Is it possible to convert 100% of a Excel VBA project to C#? Or are there some commands done in Excel VBA that are not possible to do in C#?

As C# has access to the full Excel object library and the VB.NET runtime library, the answer to that should in theory be, yes. However, if the project is of a significant length and you're using a version of C# prior to 4.0, you'll probably be half-mad by the end of it. Sanity should certainly be improved by using C# 4.0 or later which made COM interop significantly easier by introducing (amongst othe things) optional/named arguments which are endemic in VBA Office code. Even so, there are still plenty of other features which will have you scratching your head for a translation!

How do I find out which version of C# I am using? I would be coding this project from the ground-up so I guess, I would be able to choose which version of C# I wanted to use...I am running VS2010 Ultimate, after googling it look slike that uses C# ver 4?
