Can I create database connection on my web host server with my local desktop application

I have created database on my web server(where I host my web site) and now I want to access that database through my window application.
Can I Do this in C# window application?
Is the same concept of local sql server connection in window application?

Wherever your sql server database locatedget the ip address of that machine and pass the 1433 port along with the ip address in server name. CheckOut one demo connection string with Ip address below. server=192.168.0.151433;uid=sa;pwd=gessbt;database=Booth Tracker;Max Pool Size=500;Connect Timeout=5000; Make sure your server should have public ip.

Hi- Yes You can use the same DB in your Window Application. For that you need internet Connection and DB Credentials. Create a Connection string in App.config of Window application and then use in similar way as you used it in your web application.
