can i do change the button text multi time in one click

i have a button and wanted to change the button text multi time in one click. when a user click the button button text will be change in to completing... and after some time it will again change into completed

it is for aspx page code language c# . example one button having text apply when i click the button it text become applying.... and after 5 or 10 second it text become applied. can i do that please help me for doing this.
