Can i have a two partial classes with same name in a two different namespace? is it work ? for ex namespace1 { partial class A { } } namespace2 { partial class A { } } is it work?

Hi It will not work. Because it considers both class in the different namespace. It is logically grouped into two different namespace and both partial class in the different namespace. namespace namespace1 { public partial class ClassA { public ClassA() { // // TODO: Add constructor logic here // } public void display() { } } public partial class ClassA { public void Print() { } } } namespace namespace2 { public partial class ClassA { public ClassA() { // // TODO: Add constructor logic here // } public void Print() { } } } The above will work. Because we have the ClassA as partial in the namespace1. namespace1.ClassA objClassA = new namespace1.ClassA(); objClassA.display(); objClassA.Print(); namespace2.ClassA objClassA1 = new namespace2.ClassA(); objClassA1.Print(); Hope this will help you to understand.

Partial classes must be in either the same namespace or (if they are nested classes) within the same outer class. Code similar to what you have will compile but the A's in each namespace will be different classes i.e. they won't be partial classes of each other.
