Can I Install SharePoint 2013 on Windows server 2012 R2?

Hi All Can I install SharePoint 2013 on Windows Server 2012 R2? I checked in google some are saying it is not supported. Only SharePoint 2013 SP1 is supported in Windows Server 2012 R2. Any Idea? I am getting configuration error in application server role web server (IIS) role section you can check full error here .

i also think that the normal version of SharePoint 2013 is not supported on Windows Server 2012 R2. So you have to install the SP1 on SharePoint 2013 .

I am not 100% sure but I think you should be able to install on Windows Server 2012 R2.
