Can I Install VS 2013 on windows 7 Home Basic ?

can I Install VS 2013 on windows 7 Home Basic,i am trying but after clicking on .exe setup file,its shows one splash screen and in within one second it disappears,same problem  while installing VS 2012 .

Hi,

I think for VS2010 installation windows 7 home basic is sufficient

To install VS2013, you must have windows 7 SP1 (x86 and x64),  Windows 8 (x86 and x64),  Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 (x64),  Windows Server 2012 (x64).

not sure for whether SP1 is available for home basic or not...

I can't answer the title question, but I did install two versions of VS2012 on Win7 Home Basic. I think they are called ...... desktop and ...... web (or something like that).
