Hi Sateesh Thanks for reply. But I want to read XML file from HardDisk. Suppose my XML file is stored at c:\Test.xml. How will you read it?

We can convert xml files to a sql table using SSIS  BCP tool or OPENXML function as shown below: INSERT INTO Test1 (col1 col2 col3) (SELECT * FROM OpenXML(@iDoc '/parentnode/'2) WITH (col1 varchar(100) c ol2 varchar(100) c ol3 varchar(100)))
