Can we save empty string into bigint column

Question

SQL SERVER gives error when my bigint column has  empty string any one have an idea please share

Hi Danish You can also use IsNull() function at the time of inserting the data like Insert Into myTbl (Col1Col2.....) Values (IsNull(@value10)IsNull(@value20)....) If the value have null then it will insert 0 instead of that otherwise it will insert you actual value. Thanks. Mark This Answer is Correct if it is helpful to you.

why are you used the if condition. pass a default parameters in table in design phase Default value Or Binding ('')

I also found that it does now allow to insert empty string into the bigint columnNow i have 85 parameters all of type bigint some have values and some does not have I do not want to check if thistxtbox.value= then insert DbNull.Value because it makes my code slow by putting 85 if else Now what to do please respond me

you can't save string in Bigint column. i have try this just try i have create one table for you.
