I think you'll need to use a 'fixed' statement to make the conversion. Try replacing the offending line with this: fixed(byte* ZChatOutputSigPtr = ZChatOutputSig) { uint ZChatOutputSigAddr = SigSearch(ZChatOutputSigPtr 31); }
