Cannot open database requested by the login. the login failed

Hello guys   cannot open database requested by the login. the login failed  i have found this kind of error in my webApp what does that mean ? please guide me ... reply soon thanks

hi faisal problem is with your connection string. If you have Trusted_Connection=True property in your connection..Change it as Trusted_Connection=false. And One More simple way is if you are using Sql Server follow these steps: 1. Go to Server Explorer 2. Add connect and give your server name 3. Select or Enter database name 4.Click on Test connection button... if Test connection is done successfully then you can see the connection in Server explorer under data connections.. then right click on the connection-->Click On properties--> Copy the Connection string value and use the connection string where ever you want.... i hope it help you.........
