Can't get the Upload File demo to work........

Question

Trying to do the simple file upload thing my visual studio attempt just earns me four errors - all about FileUpload1 does not exist in this context... any help? regards ab

Thanks for that Chrish. I've been getting pretty confused with so many different file downloads on my hard drive and I don't know which is which... The file we're talking about from C# Corner was at: http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/uploadfile/mahesh/fileupload10092005172118pm/fileupload.aspx?articleid=79850d6d-0e91-4d7b-9e27-a64a09b0ee6b and following your advice I'll keep working on it. Meanwhile I got another demo from: http://www.stardeveloper.com/articles/display.html?article=2002022201&page=1 which I simply needed to point my browser at and it worked beautifully. hi Please check your fileupload name (FileUpload1) exist. Second thing you need to write (! Page.IsPostback) in page load event because your page is loading again.
