Can't I make a simple dot using the Grapics class?

Can't I make a simple dot using the Grapics class? I know I can use SetPixel in the Bitmap class. But that class is a not as smart which means that I have to manually do some control.

The only other way I can think of using graphics would be to create a very small Bitmap: using (Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap(1 1)) // or whatever size you want { bmp.SetPixel(0 0 Color.Black) grfx.DrawImage(bmp x y); } but it sounds from your opening post as though that's what you're doing already. A possible non-graphical solution would be to use a small label with its Text property set to a dot or several dots appropriately spaced out.

Yeah. I know but it doesn't look good. As I have a lot of points close to each other and the ellipses look different depending on position.

You could try drawing an ellipse or rectangle with a very small height and width.
