If you want to play the same file while it is capturing, you can achieve that using LEADTOOLS Multimedia toolkit controls and enabling Audio Preview. Use NAudio, an o pen source .NET audio library capture and play audio. It can extract the property of audio file like BitRate, Size type too.Add from NuGet package manager or download from here : https://naudio.codeplex.com/
