Career Advice for IOT FIELD

Hi,

At present i am working as a web developer in IT industries.but in past i spend 2 years in electronics field worked on PLC and Industrial Automation.but this time working as web developer so i isn't use my past experience."I study about IOT on internet this the field where i can use my both knowledge". but i don't know which companies working in IOT and what the future of IOT.so Please give me suggestion about this.
