carrer :: cloud computing technology

Question

hello,

 

I am a cs student and currenty studying cloud computing course offered at my collage. The course is more of self study and designed in a way which gives freedom to explore this new technology. However, i am totally new to this technology. Can any one provide industrial point of view about this technology. Also i would like to know where should i focus more so that i drive maxinum benifit out of this course which in tern help my carrer in long run.
