CCW

Question

Dear (whatever you want) I'm trying to make an active Document Server application in MFC in the VS2003. The problem is that I don't have any MFC experience and I'm just longing for some easy programming with those arraylists and window forms. I think I could link my MFC project and my Managed C# with a CCW. The question: Any hints or tips? thanks Paul

Hello chuawenching UPDATE: I read the article but it's still out of my league right know. I decided to broaden my MFC knowledge and try to make my project MFC only. So thanks for the help. Cheers to you too Paul

Hi Well there are 2 ways to achieve this. 1. The hard way - convert the MFC to Managed MFC (tough times). Then you can use in C#. 2. The easier way. Modify your current MFC to support COM. Then you can use C# to add references to that COM. For the 2nd point below is a good start. http://www.codeguru.com/Cpp/COM-Tech/atl/atl/article.php/c55 At the end of the day you still have to code.
